Tourism Ministry to hold Independence Day celebrations

AMMAN — The Ministry of Tourism, in cooperation with the Jordan Tourism Board and the Department of Antiquities, will hold on Wednesday, May 25, celebrations on the occasion of the 76th Independence Day. The event, taking place near the ministry's headquarters, features a music festival and a craft bazaar held by several local associations.
The ministry in a statement highlighted that celebrations commemorating the 76th Independence Day of Jordan will begin on Wednesday, lasting for three days in all governorates of the Kingdom at several tourist and archaeological sites, including the Roman Amphitheatre in Amman, the Great Arab Revolution Square in Aqaba, the Karak Castle Square, and Jerash's southern amphitheatre, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
