Two arrested for stealing SR12,000 from Saudi people at border

AMMAN — The Azraq Highway Patrols on Tuesday arrested a young man and a woman in a vehicle who are suspected of stealing SR12,000 from Saudi people in Al Omari Centre near the Saudi-Jordanian border, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
A security source said that, after the information of the suspected vehicle was circulated to other patrols, the Azraq personnel went to arrest the two suspects. They confessed to the robbery after being found with the money, Petra reported. According to the source, investigations will continue until all legal procedures finish and the case is referred to court.
