UJ, Goodwill Campaign hold free medical day

AMMAN — The University of Jordan nursing faculty, in cooperation with the King Hussein Cancer Centre, participated in the Goodwill Campaign by holding a free medical day in Al Jiza on Sunday. 

Various health services, including breast cancer early detection tests, were offered at event, attended by HRH Princess Basma.

According to Najah Salameh, health day coordinator, 900 cases of breast cancer are detected and registered among females annually in Jordan. 

Princess Basma, president of the Goodwill Campaign’s higher committee, presented the event’s organisers with plaques in appreciation of their efforts, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
