UK seeks to increase assistance to Jordan — ambassador

MADABA — Jordan and the UK have “solid” relations in the political, economic and social fields, British Ambassador to Jordan Peter Millett said Tuesday.
At a lecture he delivered at the German-Jordanian University on the historic relations between the UK and the Middle East, he expressed his country’s keenness on increasing economic assistance to Jordan to help it face increasing burdens as a result of hosting Syrian refugees.
