Unexploded artillery shell found in Tafileh

TAFILEH — Several Tafileh residents on Monday found an old unexploded artillery shell in Quteifat neighbourhood in the southern governorate.
Tafileh police director Brig. Gen. Fawaz Maaytah said experts from the Royal Engineering Corps removed the shell without causing any damage.
Brig. Gen. Fawaz Maaytah, head of the Tafileh Police Department, on Sunday said police seized 1,152 Captagon pills and hashish from two people during a comprehensive security operation in Tafileh.
A wanted man was apprehended in Wadi Zeid in the southern governorate of Tafileh on Wednesday, the police said.
A 12-old-year child died in Qadisiyah village in Tafileh Governorate, 180km southwest of Amman, on Monday after the rope of a swing twisted around his neck.
