Universities urged to allow students who did not pay fees to sit for exams

AMMAN — Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Wajih Owais on Monday contacted the presidents and deans of public and private universities, urging them to stop denying the students who did not pay the fees from sitting for the final exams.
The ministry’s spokesperson said that the measure is meant to alleviate citizens’ financial burdens amid the impacts of the pandemic, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
