US ambassador briefed on anti-graft body’s role

AMMAN — Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) President Samih Bino on Monday received US Ambassador Alice G. Wells and discussed cooperation between ACC and the US government in programmes and projects to fight corruption.
Wells was briefed on ACC’s tasks and authority.
The ambassador stressed the importance of fighting corruption, noting that all communities, including the US, suffer from graft.
