USAID presents grants to support home-based businesses

AMMAN — USAID on Wednesday presented $350,000 in six grants to support home-based businesses in Jordan, focusing on food production, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The grants include training for home-based businesses to improve the quality of products, meet safety standards, and connect the businesses to loan programmes and new markets to assist their growth, Petra reported. The grants target businesses in Irbid, Zarqa, Karak, Amman, Tafileh and Aqaba.
