AMMAN — The Water Ministry on Thursday announced the start of executing a project to convey water from the new Abu Alanda Reservoir to the Khaw Reservoir in Zarqa, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During a meeting in Amman, attended by Agence Française de Développement Director Serge Snrech, Director of the German Development Bank Florian Rabe and senior officials, Water Minister Hazem Nasser called for providing support for Jordan to overcome the repercussions of the refugee crisis.

Nasser said the project is part of his ministry's strategy to expand the national water network in order to connect the Kingdom's water stations.
