MAFRAQ — Security forces in the Zaatari Refugee Camp on Tuesday seized 10 tonnes of cement after a group of people attempted to smuggle the material into the camp.
Camp Director Col.
Abdul Rahman Omoush said building equipment is not allowed to enter the camp, adding that security personnel have detained the persons involved.
Omoush said regulations ban the construction of buildings in the camp, which has enough trailers and tents to shelter its Syrian refugee population.
