Zu’bi meets with transport, municipal ministers

AMMAN — Minister of Interior Ghaleb Zu’bi said on Saturday that finding solutions to the problems facing the Kingdom is closely tied to compliance with the law by civil society and the public and private sectors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The remark came during a meeting attended by Ministers of Municipal Affairs Walid Masri, Tranport Jamil Mujahed, and Public Security Department (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Ahmad Sarhan, and Gendarmerie Department Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh.
They discussed several issues including preparations for local and municipal elections due for August, alleged violations committed by street vendors and regulations governing bus drivers.
