AMMAN — More than 3000 young runners took part in the Children’s Race of the 9th Samsung Amman Marathon which concluded on Friday and was held within the King Hussein Park.

Run Jordan General Manager Lina Al Kurd told The Jordan Times that the event was a success.

“We are really proud of the huge participation by the children representing most of the schools in Jordan which proves that children are learning more about living a healthy lifestyle,’ she said.

“Children between 6 and 14 years old took part in the event and had to run for 2,800 metres within the King Hussein Park and the results were amazing,” she added.
