Jordan’s Simreen settles for world youth bronze medal

AMMAN — Jordan has another rising sports star after Bader Simreen took bronze medal at the World Youth Boxing Championships on Tuesday taking place in Budapest, Hungary, according to the Jordan Olympic Committee News Service.
The youngster enjoyed an incredible run to the semifinal where he eventually lost to Cuba’s Yumara Ariaba. It is the first time that a Jordanian has won a medal of any colour at the event.
