16,000 youths benefitted from Haqiq initiative in 2022

AMMAN — Haqiq, an initiative of the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF), in cooperation with the Education Ministry, on Tuesday organised an event on the occasion of International Youth Day. It was established to realise young people’s commitment to becoming successful leaders in their communities. According to a Haqiq statement, the event was held at Princess Basma Scout Camp "Dibeen", on the sidelines of the 2022 training camp for the Councils of Haqiq Knights, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Director of educational activities at the ministry, Abdulsalam Shunnaq, said that the initiative aims to explore and improve young people's capabilities, noting that it included activities related to citizenship, leadership and societal service. Additionally, it consisted of volunteer work such as planting trees and painting, among others. The number of beneficiaries from Haqiq initiative so far has reached 16,000 youths, with around 273 schools partaking in the 16th cohort. This allowed more than 4,000 students to join the initiative's activities across the Kingdom’s governorates.
