2 arrested for allegedly damaging graveyard in Russeifa

AMMAN — Two persons were referred to court for allegedly causing damage to a graveyard in the Russeifa area, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced on Wednesday.
The PSD’s spokesperson said that a group of people on Tuesday gathered to protest at the Russeifa's old cemetery after a bulldozer was used to widen a road inside the graveyard while damaging a number of graves, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The spokesperson added that the bulldozer driver and the person who had asked him to widen the road were arrested pending further legal action.
