Amman ranks 14th on 2022 UN Local Online Service Index

AMMAN — Amman, along with Moscow, New York, Singapore, Istanbul, Rome and Lisbon, ranked 14th on the 2022 UN Local Online Service Index (LOSI) in technology criteria, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The 2022 LOSI, which assesses e-government development, comprised 84 indicators related to five criteria: Institutional framework, content provision, services provision, participation and engagement, and technology. In 2022, Amman scored 0.5581, compared with 0.3875 in 2020.
Credit goes to the Greater Amman Municipality's efforts to improve online services provided to the people and keep pace with technological developments amid digital transformation, Petra added.
