AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Wednesday attended the “Saif Al Arab” (means Sword of the Arabs) joint military drill in Egypt.

A unit from the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) earlier this month headed to Egypt to take part in the Saif Al Arab joint military drill. Huneiti and a number of chiefs of staff of the armed forces of the Arab countries participating in the joint drill, attended the main part of the drills carried out by groups of armed forces from Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan at the Mohammed Najib Military Base, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

JAF participates in a number of joint drills, with “brotherly and friendly countries”, as part of the framework of the army’s training plans.
