AMMAN — The Jordan Customs at the Jaber Customs Centre, in cooperation with the Anti-Narcotics Department (AND), on Saturday thwarted an attempt to smuggle about 2.31 million Captagon pills, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The pills were seized during the inspection of two trucks coming from a neighbouring Arab country loaded with clothes, accessories and stones. The pills were adeptly hidden inside the stones and hair combs, Petra reported. Suspects involved in the case were referred to the judiciary.
