Speaking at the event, held at the historical Salt Museum and organised by the embassy in cooperation with Balqa Tourism Directorate, Armitage said the exhibition was held in Australia last year and showcased pictures and belongings dating back to the revolt, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The diplomat added that Australia is aware of the difficult situation Jordan is facing in a turbulent region, and expressed his country’s keenness to maintain ties with the Kingdom and support it in preserving the country’s safety.
