Azerbaijan embassy hails Amman-Baku ties

AMMAN — Azerbaijan’s embassy in Amman on Saturday lauded the “distinguished” bilateral ties in various fields. In a statement marking the occasion of the International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the embassy highlighted the importance of His Majesty King Abdullah’s recent visit to Baku, which aimed to enhance mutual cooperation.
The statement expressed the Azeri government’s appreciation for Jordan’s firm stance towards the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia in accordance with the international resolutions, as well as Amman’s respect for the International laws related to Azerbaijan’s unity and sovereignty.
International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis falls on December 31, when Azeris worldwide celebrate solidarity and unity.
