AMMAN — Rehabilitation works on the remaining parts of the “Mafraq-Safawi” Road (also known as the Baghdad International Road) will commence next week, Minister of Public Works and Housing Falah Omoush said on Thursday.
The completion phase of the project includes rehabilitating four lanes and central pavement, Omoush said, as reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The minister noted that work was halted due to lack of funding, and the project will be completed after securing the required finances.
