Bahaa Hariri donates JD350,000 to families of fallen soldiers

AMMAN — Sheikh Bahaa Hariri on Wednesday donated JD350,000 to the Nashama Fund (the fund to support the families of fallen army and security officers) in appreciation of the role played by the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) and members of the Public Security Department, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Hariri reaffirmed his trust in the JAF’s capability to defend the security and stability of the Kingdom, as he announced the donation during a speech addressed to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat. Freihat, in turn, expressed his appreciation of Hariri’s fraternal gesture, and thanked him for the donation that represents the strong ties between Jordan and Lebanon.
