AMMAN — The Amman Magistrates Court on Sunday held its third hearing in the Jabal Luweibdeh building collapse case, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

In the four-hour session, the court heard the testimonies of seven witnesses. The father of one of the victims requested that the court provide an attorney for the plaintiffs, as they do not have the financial means to afford legal fees.

The court decided to adjourn the session to next Tuesday. The court held its first session on September 25, where three defendants, currently detained in Marka Rehabilitation Centre, pleaded not guilty.  The residential building collapsed in the Jabal Luweibdeh neighbourhood in Amman on September 14, causing 14 deaths and 10 injuries.
