AMMAN — The administrative court has rejected a contestation filed by Jordanian high school students who were registered at Arab schools outside Jordan calling for repealing an amended by-law governing secondary certificate attestation.
A judicial source told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Thursday that the 105 students had registered for secondary school exams in Libyan and Yemeni schools operating in Turkey, Ukraine and Sudan, Petra added.
The Education Ministry’s regulations stipulate that students who want to study high school abroad must enrol in schools that are affiliated with the foreign country’s education ministry and be based in the same country.
