Crown Prince joins military course in UK

Training will continue till the end of the year

AMMAN — HRH Crown Prince Hussein has joined a military course at one of the military battalions in the UK armed forces, which will continue until the end of this year, a Royal Court statement announced on
Saturday. 

Prince Hussein graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 2017.  His father, His Majesty King Abdullah, and his grandfather, His Majesty the late King Hussein, have graduated from the prestigious academy. 

The Crown Prince holds the rank of second lieutenant in the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army.

In May 2016, Crown Prince Hussein graduated from the prestigious Georgetown University in Washington, DC, where he majored in international history. His Royal Highness graduated in 2012 from King’s Academy in Madaba.

The eldest son of Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania, His Royal Highness was born in Amman on June 28, 1994 and is the 42nd generation direct descendant of Prophet Mohammad.
