Dutch Youth Creativity Award kicks off

AMMAN — Dutch Youth Creativity Award (Dyaa) kicked off on Wednesday at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST). The award is an activity of the project: "Creating Attractive Opportunities for Livelihood of Youth in Agriculture (COOL-YA)", funded by the Dutch Embassy in Jordan. JUST Vice President Sarhan Haddad said that this project aims to enhance contact with Jordan's local community.

The activity is implemented by the Finn Church Aid (FCA), Jordan Agricultural Engineers Association and Jordan Exporters and Producers Association for Fruit and Vegetables, in cooperation with JUST’s College of Agriculture and Center of Excellence for Innovative Projects. Director of the Jordan Programme at FCA Jihan Zaben referred to the organisation's role in promoting projects that provide solutions to problems facing the local community, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
