Energy’s Director of Planning and Institutional Development at the ministry Shurouq Abdel Ghani said that the course aims to introduce the concept of innovation and its role in leading institutions and enable participants to utilise tools to generate ideas.
The course comes as part of the “Encouraging and Supporting Innovation" project, which aims to train 30 employees annually from 2022-2024.
In 2021, the Ministry trained 25 employees on innovation, including 15 from the ministry’s personnel.
The courses were delivered by trainers who were previously trained by the German-Jordanian Energy Partnership programme, in cooperation with the King Abdullah II Centre for Excellence.
