Ensour listens to Zarqa residents’ demands; meets Qatari investor

AMMAN — Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Tuesday met with several MPs and leading figures from Zarqa, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Ensour listened to the attendees’ demands to improve health services in Zarqa and increase cooperation between Hashemite University and Zarqa Public Hospital.
The premier voiced readiness to study measures of turning the hospital into an educational centre. Also on Tuesday, Ensour met with Qatari investor Sheikh Mohammad Sultan Al Jaber, Petra reported.
Jaber briefed the premier on the investment he is planning to make in the Dead Sea area to establish a medical centre as well as rehabilitate four- and five-star hotels with an investment volume of $120 to $150 million. Jaber said he chose the Dead Sea area because of its tourist attractions.
