AMMAN — The University of Jordan’s (UJ) council of deans on Monday rejected seven appeals by students who were expelled because of their involvement in recent campus violence incidents, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
In a statement published on its website, UJ highlighted the importance of committing to regulations and said it will neither be lenient with those who stir violence, nor submit to any pressures when implementing the law.
