AMMAN — Religious diversity is not the reason behind current international conflicts, former prime minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zlatko Lagumdžija said Thursday.
At a lecture delivered at the Jordan Media Institute (JMI), Lagumdžija criticised the exploitation of religion in politics, which has made the followers of the same religion enemies, according to a JMI statement.
The lecture is part of an intensified regional programme on media, communication and leadership organised at the JMI with the participation of 24 young people from seven Arab countries.
