Free medical day held for people with disabilities

AMMAN — The Institute for Family Health affiliated with the King Hussein Cancer Centre (KHCC) on Saturday launched a free medical day for persons with disabilities.
The event, organised in cooperation with the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD), witnessed the participation of 100 persons with disabilities and their families, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The event included medical consultations, psychotherapy, diabetes tests, blood pressure checks, test for early detection of breast cancer, dental check-ups, as well as services related to special education and speech, physical and occupational therapy, among others.
