Freihat attends military retirees iftar

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Saturday attended an iftar (Ramadan’s fast-breaking meal) banquet with several military retirees from the southern governorates held by the Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army (JAF) in the military wing of Mutah University.

The director general of the Economic and Social Association of Retired Servicemen and Veterans and a number of senior officers attended the banquet, where they voiced their appreciation for His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the JAF, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
