Freihat, US commander discuss cooperation between two armies

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Sunday met with Lt. Gen. Michael Garrett, commander of land forces, US Central Command, and his accompanying delegation over the latest regional and international developments.

Freihat and Garrett also went over means to enhance cooperation and coordination in issues of interest to both countries’ armies, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The US military attaché in Amman attended the meeting.
