Gov't confirms no state of emergency declared, daily life continues uninterrupted

AMMAN — Minister of Government Communications Muhannad Mubaidin refuted as "baseless" news reports claiming Jordan has declared state of emergency, stressing that daily life continues uninterrupted in the Kingdom.
In remarks to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Mubaidin said news reports published on some media outlets about Jordan declaring a state of emergency were "completely untrue", warning of legal proceedings against any party publishing "rumours and unverified information".
The minister said that everything is normal in the Kingdom and nothing whatsoever is altering Jordanian daily lives.
