AMMAN — The percentage of positive tests on Friday stood at 4.3 per cent, which is below the envisioned percentage of 5 per cent, an official source told The Jordan Times.
The source added that the government might take more measures to alleviate the current restrictions if the epidemiological curve follows the same trend and the percentage of positive tests goes below 5 per cent for two consecutive weeks, while taking into consideration the capacity of hospitals.
The source stressed the importance of continuing to commit to health guidelines, mainly wearing face masks and physical distancing, especially during the Eid Al Fitr holiday that usually witnesses family and social gatherings.
