Hammad reviews anti-virus measures at border crossings, airports

AMMAN — Interior Minister in the caretaker government Salameh Hammad on Monday headed a meeting of the committee for organising and following up on the affairs of borders and airports and discussed means to stiffen health and preventives measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 through borders and airports.

Hammad also highlighted the government's keenness to make decisions that can realise the interests of citizens and the Kingdom, mainly at the health and economic levels according to health and public safety measures and developments in the epidemiological situation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The minister noted that reevaluation procedures covered all border crossings, where administrative governors and security agencies were tasked with following up on the commitment of the public to safety procedures.
