AMMAN — The cooperative sector has to assume its real status as an important contributor to the Jordanian economy, where cooperatives should help in the “Jordanisation” of the agricultural sector, Agriculture Minister Khalid Hneifat said on Tuesday.
Attending the ceremony held on the occasion of the 2018 International Cooperative Day, Hneifat, who deputised for Prime Minister Omar Razzaz, said that the sector can develop when it achieves envisioned goals while implementing productive projects, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
