Italian embassy to present book project blending cuisine, art, solidarity

AMMAN — As part of the fourth Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, “The Extraordinary Italian Taste”, the Italian embassy, in collaboration with Misia Arte di Bari, will present the book “Cake: The dessert culture between Arab and Western tradition”, which compiles the work of 19 international artists to address different themes, from personal memory to collective memory, linked through food. The book, printed in Italian and English, supports Bait al Karama Women Centre in Nablus. The event will take place at NOFA Creative Space on Monday at 6pm, according to an Italian embassy statement.
