JFDA shuts down 25 food-related facilities since beginning of Ramadan

AMMAN — The inspection teams of the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) partially shut down 25 food-related facilities, including street vendors and shops, in the past two days.
The inspection teams carried out 412 rounds since the beginning of Ramadan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Specialised units disposed of 991kg of meat and fish unfit for human consumption, in addition to canned foods, sweets and 330 litres of juice seized from street vendors.
