AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) on Monday dispatched three convoys of food aid to the people in Gaza in collaboration with the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF) and the World Food Programme (WFP).
A statement by the organisation on Monday said that the convoys consisted of 73 trucks laden with food parcels and flour, sent over the past two days through the King Hussein Bridge to be delivered to the people in the Gaza Strip via the Kerem Shalom crossing, a statement to The Jordan Times said.
Secretary-general of the JHCO Hussein Shibli said "We are striving to deliver more humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip to alleviate the current conditions they are facing," according to the statement.
The JHCO continues to receive cash donations through its bank account at Bank al Etihad, account number JO32 UBSI 1030 0000 4010 1659 9151 06, or through electronic wallets, or via Click JHCOGAZA, in addition to " efawateercom " and through its website www.jhco.org.jo.
