Jordan delegates review latest developments at nuclear energy expo

AMMAN — Jordan’s participation in the ATOMEXPO 2016 was important to get acquainted with the latest nuclear energy developments as the Kingdom prepares for its nuclear programme, said Jordan Nuclear Power Company Director General Ahmad Hiasat on Saturday.
He said Jordan’s delegation to the exhibition had a first-hand look at nuclear safety technology, which was a hot topic at the event, organised by Russian Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation in Moscow. Some 4,500 people from 55 countries attended the exhibition, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
