Jordan, Estonia discuss bolstering relations

AMMAN — The Jordanian and Estonian foreign ministries on Tuesday held a political consultation session on bilateral relations and the means of enhancing them, as well as issues of mutual interest.
The meeting, headed by Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry Zeid Louzi and his Estonian counterpart, Paul Teesalu, focused on bolstering Jordanian-Estonian economic, commercial, investment and tourism relations, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Discussions also addressed means to exchange expertise in the ICT field, in which Estonia is considered a “pioneering country”, in addition to security cooperation, Petra said.
Talks also covered the latest regional developments, including the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the Jerusalem issue, assistance to UNRWA and repercussions of the Syrian refugee crisis.
