Jordan, Iraq discuss revamping highway

AMMAN — Public Works and Housing Minister Sami Halaseh on Wednesday discussed rehabilitating the highway connecting Jordan and Iraq with Iraqi Minister of Construction and Housing Ann Nafi Aussi Balbool, a ministry statement said.

The road project will connect the Aqaba Port with Um Qasr Port in Basra and requires rebuilding the highway connecting Jordan with Iraq and facilitating measures at border crossings.
