AMMAN — Interior Minister Salameh Hammad on Wednesday issued regulations for registering citizens’ addresses, as stipulated in Article 56 of the 2001 Civil Status Law and its amendments.
The instructions oblige every Jordanian who is 18 and over to register his/her address by filling out an accredited form from the director of the Civil Status and Passports Department.
Expatriate Jordanians can visit the Kingdom’s embassy or consulate to fill out the form. Citizens who provide their addresses within two years as of May 19, 2015, will not pay any fees.
