Jordan's ambassador to Guatemala presents credentials

AMMAN — President of the Republic of Guatemala  Alejandro Eduardo Giammattei on Saturday received the credentials of Jordan's Ambassador Adli Khaldi as accredited and non resident ambassador of the Kingdom to Guatemala. Khaldi conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings to the president of Guatemala, and his best wishes of further progress and prosperity to Guatemalans, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.  President Giammattei praised the wise policies of King Abdullah and highlighted the “strong” relations between the two countries.  The credentials presentation ceremony was attended by Guatemalan Foreign Minister Mario Bucaro and Director for Bilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Guatemala Ambassador Lince Hernandez, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
