JPA calls for improving living conditions of Al Rai, AdDustour staff

AMMAN — The Jordan Press Association (JPA) council has called for improving the living conditions of the staffs of Al Rai and AdDustour newspapers.
The council called for timely salary payment, payment of overdue wages and improving the health insurance coverage.
The council, during two separate meetings with the chairman, general manager and editor-in-chief of each newspaper, called on the managements to enhance job security, voicing their rejection of restructuring reporters, who make up the least percentage of the two newspapers staffs, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Thursday.
