JPMC receives WORLDCOB Award for Business Excellence

AMMAN — World Confederation of Business (WORLDCOB) granted the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) the Award for Business Excellence.
JPMC was chosen among 3,500 entities representing 130 different countries. The JPMC was honoured for fulfilling the award's standards in the areas of business entrepreneurship, product quality, management systems, innovation, social responsibility and outcomes, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Announcing the award's winners, WORLDCOB CEO, Jesus J. Moran, stressed that the JPMC was honoured for its "distinguished" position globally and its "remarkable" efforts to realise excellence in all fields.
JPMC CEO Abdel Wahab Alrowwad said the award confirms the company's keenness to adopt and promote a culture of excellence, entrepreneurship and creativity in all fields, aimed to enhance its local, regional and global position and its capability to compete.
WORLDCOB, a US-based organisation, has been working since 2005 to assess companies across the world from all sectors and reward winners that meet the required standards.
