AMMAN — The Jordanian Parliamentary Friendship Association with Asia and Oceania on Wednesday received Kazakh Ambassador Aidarbek Toumatov over ties and exchanging expertise.

During the meeting, Head of the association Abdulrahim Maaya referred to His Majesty King Abdullah's positions, which highlight the Palestinian cause and the Hashemite Custodianship over Muslim and Christian Holy Sites in Jerusalem, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Maaya underscored the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing relations between the countries in various economic, agricultural, tourism and educational fields, calling for increasing parliamentary visits to exchange expertise in these areas.

He noted that the association seeks to contribute to overcoming difficulties and obstacles facing Kazakh investors, reviewing some of the most prominent bills recently approved by the Lower House. Toumatov stressed the "deep" ties between the nations, which were further boosted by the countries' leaders.
