Local poll voter turnout stands at 21.28% at 4pm

AMMAN — Voter turnout rates nationwide in the elections of governorate councils, municipalities and the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) at 4pm on Tuesday stood at 21.28 per cent, of which 11.30 per cent accounted for males and 9.98 per cent for females, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

According to the Independent Election Commission (IEC)’s data, the number of ballots cast stood at 978,915 at 4pm.
