MCA-Jordan inks deal for Zarqa wastewater network project

AMMAN — The Millennium Challenge Account-Jordan (MCA-Jordan) has signed an agreement with Al Masirah Construction Company to implement the second phase of the Wastewater Network Project in the Princess Haya Neighbourhood in the city of Zarqa.

The $3.6 million agreement is part of the $275 million grant programme funded by the Millennium Challenge Corporation, a US government aid agency, according to an MCA-Jordan statement released Tuesday.

The projects are expected to benefit around 26,000 individuals, MCA-Jordan CEO Kamal Zoubi said in the statement.
